Lance Kinney, P.E., Executive Director of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, will present an Engineering Ethics Seminar for Professional Engineers on Wednesday, October 13. The seminar, sponsored by the Arlington Technology Association, will be held at 7:00am in Nedderman Hall on the UT Arlington campus. Attendance at the seminar will meet the one-hour ethics requirement for maintaining your P.E. license.
The advanced registration fee is $24, or pay $30 at the door. Fees will support scholarships for engineering students at UT Arlington. Registration begins August 1; you may register to attend by visiting Engineering Ethics Seminar.
Coffee, juices and pastries will be provided for seminar attendees.
Earlier this year, the Arlington Technology Association awarded scholarships to three students who are beginning their studies in the the College of Engineering this fall: Elizabeth Blaiszik of Arlington High School, who plans to major in aerospace engineering; Arturo Quinones of Sam Houston High School, who plans to major in civil engineering; and David Whaley of Lamar High School, who plans to major in aerospace engineering. Our thanks to the engineers who attended last year's Engineering Ethics Seminar; their participation helped to fund these scholarships.
